Christmas fun!

We had everyone over to our house for Nolan's first christmas. It was fun filling the house with food and family. Nolan got so many gifts it was ridiculous. Spoiled is an understatement. Nolan loved the Christmas tree, every morning when he came down from his room he would squeeze my arm and say "ight". He was obsessed with the lights and ornaments. Christmas was a blast with Nolan, next year will only get better as he really starts to understand what is going on.

Gymboree Christmas party

Nolan has been going to Gymboree since he was 6 months old. He loves Gymbo the clown and the bubbles at parachute time. We still go once a week and Nolan runs crazy the WHOLE time. He rarely  sits still and almost never stops moving. We went to the Christmas party and Nolan saw Santa (from a distance), made an ornament for the tree, and had a few professional pictures taken. Many of the children screamed the whole time during pictures so I was a little afraid, but Nolan was a ham and smiled and flirted his way through the pics. Unfortunately, I forgot my camera, so these are the only pictures we have from the party.

Family Photos

Nick (Uncle Pickle) & Kelly (Aunt Smelly) came down to Huntington Beach to take family pictures for Mike and Mary. The first pictures were a little difficult because Lilly was not cooperating, but after a little food break she was ready for more. After pictures we had a family dinner at Alessa- yum!!

Nolan had a Santa photo shoot with his Uncle Pickle to celebrate his first Christmas. We had fun trying to get him to pose AND smile. We used props, music (the SC fight song- cringe), and lots of people trying to keep his attention. Fortunately, Nick is great at what he does and we were able to get some really good shots. Reed thought dressing him up in a Santa suit was overkill, but I (and all of the other women in Nolan's life) thought it was so adorable!!
I just LOVE his smile!

My favorite!!
