Let's try this again, so much to tell.

With a lot of encouragement, I have been convinced to start our blog back up. I am excited to share Nolan's everyday happenings, and also help me document these days as they are flying by so quickly. It has been over a year since he was born and I can't believe how the time has flown. I hope to keep an up to date account of our lives as we enjoy the ordinary miracles our days are filled with. These were pictures of Nolan the night he was born Jan 5, 2010 (courtesy of Uncle Pickle).

Here are  a few current pictures of our 1 year old ( compliments of Uncle Pickle).

Visiting the ducks.

Reed and I took Nolan to Bridgeport to see the ducks.  Nolan and I have been walking there in the mornings and he LOVES the ducks, so we brought Daddy along to see them too. We had fun right up until Nolan lost his shoe in the lake, but don't worry Daddy saved it.

Stroller Strides

I recently joined a Stroller class with Jen and Tammy so we could work out with the babies. I have fun catching up with adults during the day, and Nolan likes spending time with other babies.

Nolan's birthday party

So I know he won't remember it, but he can look at the pictures. The party was a success, complete with taco guys, a jumper, and lots of family and friends. We are lucky to have so many people that love (and spoil) our son.
All of the kids, except Nolan, loved the jumper.

Uncle Pickle is here!
My birthday cake, cousin Lilly is helping with the candles.
Not too sure about the cake.

Now I've got the hang of it.
Nolan kept playing his new piano, and then would stop and make everyone cheer for him. He loved playing and be cheered on.

After a very long day Daddy is taking Nolan up for bed.

Happy birthday baby!

Happy 1st birthday Nolan

Well, as much as we can't believe it, our baby is 1. We are so sad to see him grow so quickly, but are enjoying the new adventures we experience daily. We are always amazed how much he understands, how quickly he learns, and how much he's done in a year. Our lives have changed dramatically this past year, but in the best way possible. We are grateful everyday for our family.
We went to Vincenzo's Pizza on Nolan's birthday to celebrate because he LOVES pizza crust. Nana, Papa, Nana squared, Uncle Brent, Aunt Lori and Uncle Steve joined us. We all had a good time.
Love the crust!

Nolan's first cupcake and he loved it- just like Mama.
Still eating and destroying.
TOUCHDOWN!!
See Siena, always willing to help him eat, and he usually shares.

Snow in Santa Clarita

So after about 20 years, it finally snowed in Santa Clarita again. The last time it snowed I was in elementary school. There was just enough snow for a small layer to stick to the ground. It was fun to see the neighborhood kids out playing and building snowmen. Nolan liked being out and getting wet, even though he really had no idea what all of the excitement was for.
The wash behind our house.

Yes I made them stand outside so I could take a picture.
