Nolan's Easter basket and egg hunt at home

When we got home from Huntington Beach Nolan was able to find his Easter basket and new ball. At the end of this very long and active day he was so sleepy and grumpy. He went right to sleep and I think had a great weekend with all of his family.
Found the basket, but now I have to fill it with eggs.
Found an egg and my ball.
Daddy helping me look.
More eggs, but I still don't want to put down my ball.
Found another egg!!

Daddy made me put all of my Easter money in my piggy bank.
Carrying around my basket with all of my eggs.
Putting my money in the bank, thanks Daddy.
Do I have to put it ALL in the piggy bank?
So much activity today, this is how it ended. So tired and grumpy.

Easter Sunday with the Mokler's

On Easter Sunday we went down to Huntington Beach to celebrate with the Mokler's. We had a wonderful brunch at the club and then had an Easter egg hunt there and at Grandma and Papa's house. It was nice seeing Nolan with his cousins, Morgan and Lilly. They were really good with him, especially Lilly when Nolan opened all of her Easter eggs.

Easter with the Pellico's

The Saturday before Easter we celebrated with the Pellico's. We had a great time playing outside with some of Nolan's new Easter toys. He was given a lot of baseball things from His Uncle Pickle, Aunt Smelly, Nana, and Papa. Do you think they are trying to tell him something. Even after showing him how to use the bat, he still wanted to play with is hockey stick or use the bat like a hockey stick. After playing and dinner Nolan searched for Eater eggs that were full of dollars and toys. He had a fun day celebrating with the family.

Despite their efforts, Nolan going back to the hockey stick, again.

No, hit the ball with the bat!
Let's try this again. Swing!!
I'm getting the hang of this.

Earth Day

On Earth Day we went to Central Park to enjoy some festivities. However, when we got there, there was not a lot to do and it was 90 plus degrees outside. The few things Nolan liked were; the big inflatable slide, the live band, and running through the open grass. We didn't last very long, but Nolan was happy when we were there.

Sliding down the big slide with Daddy!
Walking around with Dad.
Nolan's cheeks were so rosy because of the heat.

Listening to the live band.
Wide open space, so much room to run!!

Ducks vs. Kings game

Reed, Rick, and Anthony getting into a little pre-game fight.
Ducks vs. Kings, my money is on the Ducks (and they won)!!

The Duck fans
The King's fans.
The wives, obviously we are not the enforcers, no fighting here.

We went to go see the Ducks play the Kings at the Staple Center. We met up with Anthony and Andrea for dinner before the game. Rick met up with us at Lucky Strikes after dinner for a few pre-game drinks (except for me). Even though we were rooting for different teams we had fun hanging out. Rick, Reed, and I may have had a slightly better time since our boys won and clinched a play-off spot!! We had a great time with some great friends!!
